OTTAWA — The drunk driving trial of a Pembroke dentist accused of killing a man in a head-on collision is expected to resume in November, nearly a full year after it first began.

Christy Natsis’s trial will resume Nov. 4 and run for 11 days. The on-again, off-again trial, which was initially supposed to last four weeks, began last November and has already stretched to seven weeks. Lawyers expect they need at least three more weeks to conclude the trial.
